JELLY BEAN
Jelly Bean doesn't have your typical sad rescue story. Her first ten years of life were full of love and affection. Then, as it often does, life happened. After an attempt to bite the baby, Jelly Bean's family thought it best that she go to a new home. That's where SLR comes in.
Tara & Jared of Knoxville, TN fostered Jelly Bean and knew on day one that she was an exception to the rule. There was no way that this sweet, obedient and playful senior was going to be in rescue for long. They were right.
On Christmas Eve, Cody and his daughter made the snowy trip from Nashville to meet their newest family member. Jelly Bean showed her gratitude with lots of sweet Schnauzer kisses! She is doing great in her new home and her new family adores her!
WAY TO GO, JELLY BEAN!

PHOEBE
Phoebe was fostered and then adopted by Beth & Mike in Jacksonville. She came into rescue with huge bladder stones and badly needed surgery. She had her surgery and recovered quickly, even at 10 years old. Phoebe fit in so well with Beth's beautiful show dogs that Beth and Mike decided she had to stay and be a part of their family. She is now running and playing with the pack and enjoying every minute of it. From the photo, it looks like Phoebe is in charge of these beautiful boys!
NOW YOU'RE STYLIN, PHOEBE!!!
JANIE
Janie was fostered by Erika White in Cocoa Beach FL. Janie is a lovely Schnauzer who was at death's door when she arrived. She came from the shelter with a very bad case of pneumonia. For the first few days she spent a lot of time in an ice bath trying to bring down her 105 temperature, and a lot of time at the vet. Then it took her a month of antibiotics to get her back on her 4 paws, but she was a trooper and was soon a star at the dog park, running with the big dogs.
Linda came along and scooped her up and now she lives on a half acre in Cocoa, and goes for walks in horse and farm country where she likes to chase chickens if she gets half a chance.
ONLY BLUE SKIES FOR JANIE!!!
PENNY
After spending 2 months recuperating from Heartworm treatment with her foster mom, Erika White in Cocoa Beach FL, Penny has joined her new extended Schnauzer family.

HEALTHY & HAPPY DAYS AHEAD FOR PENNY!!!
SUPER DUPER
Super Duper was lovingly fostered by Carolyn and Kevin in Orlando, FL and before that by Karan in Ocala, FL.
Super Duper aka “Soupy” won the new family triple-crown when he was adopted by Vicki and John in Orlando, FL. He now has three loving adults because his new Uncle Terry lives with them. He also gained a little sister named Amelia. So now Soupy is living it up playing in his new fenced yard with his sister, getting lots of people petting him and giving him belly rubs, going for long walks in the neighborhood and the nearby park. He is a happy little man as you can see by the big smile on his face.
A SUPER FUTURE FOR SUPER DUPER!!!
SASSY
Sassy was lovingly fostered by Marilyn in Florida. Another volunteer agreed to keep her while Marilyn was away.
Lucky for Sassy, they fell in love with her! Sassy now has a fantastic new home with Bill and Mimi where she continues to take long walks not only in the neighborhood, but on the beach. As a great lap dog, she now has two laps in which to share her charming personality.
HAPPY TAILS TO SASSY!!!
KRYSTA
Krysta was fostered by Dave & Lesli in Green Cove Springs, Florida. Her foster mom knew with that beautiful face and big brown eyes it would not take long for someone to fall in love with her.
Phil & Noreen drove up from Lutz, Florida to meet Krysta. It was love at first sight; she had captured their hearts. Krysta has a lot to be thankful for being adopted on November 25, just in time to spend Thanksgiving with her new mom and dad. She misses her four fur sisters, but is adjusting nicely to her new home and family.
WAY TO GO, KRYSTA!!!
