Adoption Fees:

include vet costs, spay/neuter, vaccinations, and heartworm and fecal tests as well as any other medical treatment deemed necessary, and ARE NOT REFUNDABLE.

If you live outside of our coverage area of AL, MS, TN, NC, SC, GA & FL, please do not fill out this application because we will not be able to place any of our dogs in your home.

The rescue makes no explicit or implicit guarantees in reference to the health and/or temperament of the dog. The dog is adopted "as is" and the adopter assumes all responsibility for treatment of any and all existing conditions or any other conditions of physical or temperament changes that may occur. The rescue will provide the dog with the basic vaccines and heartworm test before adoption if the age and current health of the dog permits. While the rescue makes every effort to place only healthy animals, the rescue cannot guarantee the health of any animal and shall not be held responsible for any medical expenses which may be incurred, hereby expressly excluding any implied or express warranties of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose, including, without limitation, any warranties regarding health, temperament or whether the animal is housebroken. I understand, if for ANY reason, this dog does NOT work out, I will return it to Schnauzer Love Rescue, Inc. I understand that I do not have the right to place the dog in another home, shelter or any other facility. The Adopter agrees to pay SLR, Inc. the sum of $500.00 as liquidated damages (this is NOT the adoption fee) in the event the terms of this contract are breached: this liquidated damage value does not bar SLR, Inc. from seeking the return of the dog by judicial process or other legal means if necessary. If legal action is instituted, the Adopter agrees to pay reasonable attorney’s fees and court costs. Thank you for completing this application form. Your application will be reviewed, and a home visit will be scheduled prior to final approval. We reserve the right to refuse adoption without explanation to the applicant. Submitting an application does not guarantee you will receive a rescued dog. Note: If you are under 18 years of age, a parent or guardian must also sign this application.
