PIERRE

With much heartache & tears, Pierre was surrendered to SLR by his family due to their health issues & financial woes. He was fostered by the Slatons in Macon, GA where they felt honored & blessed to get to know this sweet little spirit.

Cindy, Brad & Emily were the lucky family to adopt Pierre in June of 2012. They applied & waited several months for just the right match to come along. Pierre was worth every second of their wait! He could not be a more perfect fit for their family.

WAY TO GO, PIERRE!!!

PUMBA (now MOLLY) & MAX

Pumba, pictured in the center with cropped ears, was lovingly fostered in Melbourne, FL by Pat. and Max, on the left, was lovingly fostered by Joan and Paul in Marietta, SC.

Sandy and Mick who live in Georgia has lost their elderly boy mini not too long ago and their hearts were finally ready to love again and this time they would double their joy by adopting two seniors.  Beautiful Molly is 10 and Max is almost 8.  Two dogs who had never met found a wonderful home where they are happy to have a furry friend and a loving family.  The little boy is Sandy and Mick's grandson who is also thrilled to have two new dogs to visit. Sandy and Mick report that everything has been wonderful with their new family and they could not be happier.

THE BEST IS YET TO BE FOR MOLLY & MAX!!!

STARLA

Starla was lovingly fostered in Bristol, TN by Angela and Craig until her adoption.

Starla was rescued from a shelter in TN. She is pictured with her new mom and dad, Rose and Tom who make their home in Dover, TN. Starla has settled in nicely and is well loved for sure.

DREAMS CAME TRUE FOR STARLA!!!

TOBY & CARA

Toby was lovingly fostered in Alabama by Mary Sue and Cara was lovingly fostered in Florida by Kathy until their adoption.

Faye, pictured with Toby on the right and holding Cara, decided she wanted two dogs and even though this duo were strangers to each other it became a match made in heaven.  Both dogs get along great.  Toby is older so he can show young Cara the ropes.

TWICE THE HAPPINESS FOR TOBY & CARA!!!

CHEWY & KASEY

Chewy and Kasey were fostered in North Florida by Dot until Friday, June 29th.

They were adopted by Pam and her husband Bill from Lakeland. It sounds like they will really be spoiled with new toys, new beds, a great large fenced back yard. Most important, they will be getting lots of love from their new family. It was love at first sight when Pam saw them on the SLR website, and she was just as happy when she met her two new fur kids in person.
Chewy and Kasey look pretty happy too!

HAPPY TAILS CHEWY & KASEY!!!
