Happy holidays, schnauzer lovers!!!!  I’m Ruff and I’m ready for my forever home.  You can see how absolutely adorable I am and that’s because I’m a unique Miniature Schnauzer/West Highland Terrier mix. Of course, I don’t shed. I have the sweetest personality and I have a fun, joyful schnauzer personality!  I weigh 18 lbs., I’m a beautiful white color, I’m up to date on all my vaccines and neutered. I’ll be three years old in February and I just know I’ll be in my new, loving forever home by then! My foster mom has been letting my hair grown so it'll be nice and healthy and thick at my next grooming. I'll post new pix then. I know I look a little fluffy in a couple of my pictures.

I love to play with toys and with my schnauzer foster brother and sisters.  In fact, I can get quite rowdy!  I LOVE to play with other dogs and kids too! (10 and older). I am doing well on my potty habits, especially if I’m reminded to go outside regularly.  I can walk on a leash just fine, but let me tell you, I love to race around my foster home’s big fenced back yard.  I don’t really bother the kitties in the house.  I like car rides and I love to eat my food and my treats.  I’ve been good in the house when I’m left and at night, although I’ll sleep in my dog bed, I’d much rather sleep in bed with the family.

My most favorite thing is for my humans to talk and cuddle with me.  I just light up when they tell me what a good, sweet boy I am.  My original owner got sick and could no longer care for me.  So, I’ve had to get accustomed to a few foster homes, and now I’m in one with lots of dogs and cats and people to love on me.  It’s the best ever.

I do have a couple of quirks – things I don’t like and my most fabulous foster mom can tell you what those are.  E.g.  Only trim my nails while I’m wearing a muzzle.  Someone must have hurt me long ago while trimming my nails and it really scares me.  But other than a couple of things like that, I’m loving and sweet and so happy!  If you are looking for a super unique and extra handsome little schnauzer/westie mix like me, just go to www.schnauzerloverescue.net and ask for Ruff in Tennessee!
