Hi there, my name is Bruno. I’m a 5-year old young man being fostered in Marietta, Georgia just north of Atlanta. Even though I’m only 5, I have gray hair and this littleunderbite that makes people smile when they meet me. I like to think it gives me
character.

If this were a dating bio I’d say that I love to take long walks with my foster mom. As a proud Schnauzer, I do have a strong prey drive, so chasing squirrels, chipmunks, or even falling leaves is basically my favorite sport. I’ll entertain you all day with this. I love my red dog toy too! My foster mom lets me lay on the top of the couch so I can look out the big window and watch the chipmunks.

At my foster home, I’ve learned so much. I’m house trained, crate trained, and leash trained and I try really hard to listen. I’m also a smart guy and already know several commands like sit, stay, leave it, quiet (that one took some work!), stop, no, and potty.One of my cutest tricks? When my foster mom asks, “Do you want to potty?” I bark back like I’m saying, “Yes!!” It always makes her smile.

When I’m not outside having adventures, I’m all about good food and cozy snuggles. I love curling up in my foster mom’s lap (I could stay there for hours), and let’s just say my appetite is impressive! When I first arrived, I was only 12 pounds—but now I’m up to 15 and still filling out nicely. Don’t leave any food where I can reach it or I’ll think it is mine. We’re still working on that and my skydiving into your lap with no warning.

My foster mom thinks being an only dog would be best. I tend to play really hard with other dogs that I know well. When I first meet other dogs I’m very vocal and not very welcoming. While I like people all right, having small children won’t work for me. 

My previous owner loved me very much but could no longer afford to keep me, so now I’m looking for a furever home. I promise to follow you everywhere, even when you go potty, sleep next to you in bed if you like, happily settle into my crate when needed and
be your best friend.
