A Loving Bonded Pair:
Meet a devoted pair of beautiful schnauzers in TN (Gordo is 7; Ava is 9) who have spent their lives side by side and are ready to find their forever homes. Both are up to date on their vaccinations; Ava is spayed, and Gordo is neutered. They are crate trained, have lovely house manners, and have excellent potty habits—they will let their people know when they need to go outside.
Meet Ava: At 9 years young and 18 lbs., Ava is a confident, bossy little lady who likes to be in charge—and she has the sweetest, most fun personality. She loves going for walks, then settling in close as a true lap dog and devoted cuddler. Ava also will select a special space of her own where she likes to relax undisturbed, so her family should respect her quiet time when she is there. Outside of that space, she is a sweet little shadow who follows her bonded companion everywhere. Ava’s playful spirit, big personality, and affectionate nature make her an irresistible companion. She’s a beautiful white chocolate parti girl. She likes to play some with Gordo and with her human with toys.
Meet Gordo: At 7 years old and 22 lbs., Gordo is a sweet soul who loves being close to his people. He follows them from room to room, happily sits beside them for pets, and then curls up on the floor for a peaceful nap at or on their feet. Like Ava, he thrives on human attention and has so much love to give. Gordo is the more submissive of the pair and does not mind letting Ava be the boss. His gentle nature and loving devotion make him an exceptionally sweet companion. Gordo is a handsome classic salt and pepper gentleman.
Their Ideal Home:
This lovely duo would thrive in a calm, patient home with a predictable routine and plenty of soft places to rest. Both enjoy walks, and they must have a securely fenced backyard where they can safely explore and relax. They are accustomed to having their people home most of the time, so they’ll thrive with adopters who work from home or are retired. Their adopter should also be prepared to continue their prescription diets, and respect Ava’s quiet space, and give both dogs a little extra time to settle in. Most of all, they need someone who will honor their bond and welcome them both as cherished members of the family. They should be OK with another dog in the home that is easygoing.
