Greetings from the ‘Treasure Coast’ of Florida! Cooper is a sweet, 9 year old male that is looking for his forever home. His owner passed away and SLR was happy to take him into our foster family. Cooper is 9 years young, is silver and white, has natural ears and a docked tail. He weighs in at 19 lbs. His original dad did a great job with him as he is house, crate and leash trained. Being an only dog for many years, Cooper must be an only dog (no felines either). He is an Alpha boy. Cooper wants to be close to his person - man or woman. He does have some anxiety when his fosters leave for work (a few treats help). He can be left alone up to 8 hrs. He does have free roam when his fosters are at work. Cooper does have one vice - he loves to take the trash our of the bathroom trash can! Easy fix - put the trash can up where he cannot get to it or even better - empty the trash can!
Cooper loves car rides. He gets excited when he knows he is going in the car even if it is to the vet’s office. He never met a plush toy that he does not love or a ball that holds his treats. The more the better! No kids for Mr. Cooper- adults only as that is the world he has known.
