Meet foster Leo, a 5-year-old, 17-pound miniature schnauzer who may just be the most perfect boy. He’s fostered in the panhandle of Florida.


Leo is silky soft, has the sweetest little pink belly, and is affectionately known as “Leo-Bo-Beo” in his foster home. His favorite place to relax is on the pillows on the couch…never the actual couch, because apparently Leo has standards! He loves chewing on bones and playing with toys, but he isn’t chaotic or constantly on the go. He’s a wonderful mix of playful, affectionate, and easygoing.


Leo is potty trained, kennel trained, and knows some basic commands. He can use a dog door, rides beautifully in the car, and is great for grooming. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and children, and he loves being included in outings. When he sees the leash come out, he may even grab it from you to help move things along!

Like many schnauzers, Leo can be vocal when he’s excited or meeting someone new, but once the introductions are over, he settles right in. He is neutered, up to date on his vaccines, and ready to find the family who will love him as much as his foster family does.
