Lucille2
Have you ever heard the saying, “Not large but still in charge?”  Me neither, but it’s what you think of when you get to know sweet little Lucille.  She is a 12-month-old schnauzer mix in Tennessee.  She is up to date on vaccinations, spayed, heart-worm negative and has wonderful house-training manners.   Weighing in at 18 lbs., Lucille has a personality that is much larger than you’d expect.  She is up to date on her vaccines, spayed and has excellent potty manners.

Lucille5She approaches life with charming exuberance.  She loves all humans (but no tiny kids for this rambunctious girl). Her foster dad is her favorite person and she will sit quietly at his feet throughout his workday.   He says she is his favorite co-worker. She plays with her toys and humans with gusto.  She is a toy destroyer and especially loves crinkly toys. Lucille is very much a puppy and is still learning what she can chew or not chew around the house. Lucille needs to be an only dog in the home, and her foster mom knows she will thrive with attention, love and obedience training.

Lucille3Lucille is very loving and cuddly; after some play she is happy spending the evening in her human’s lap. In fact, she absolutely adores all humans, women or men.

Lucille4She has boundless energy and needs an energetic owner; one that can make time to play with her every day in a fenced yard and take her on walks.  Ideally, her new owner is home a lot (perhaps works from home); she gets anxious when she’s home alone.  At night, she is happy to sleep in a crate near her foster parents’ bed, but would much prefer to sleep in the bed with them.

If you meet Lucille’s requirements (no other dogs, energetic owner that is home a lot and time to play with and train in fenced yard), and would love a sweet little mischievous rascal girl with boundless energy and lots of personality, please go to www.schnauzerloverescue.net and ask for Lucille in Tennessee.
