Chapo2Hola from Central FL! Meet Florida’s 10 years old bilingual Schnauzer!
(he continues to learn additional words in English as the days go on). If after reading his biography, you are interested in knowing more details about him, please complete an adoption application on the SLR web site and enter CHAPO as the sweet Schnauzer you would like to provide a forever home to.

Chapo4CHAPO is blanco and weighs 21 lbs. He has natural ears and a docked tail. He is up-to-date with his vaccinations and monthly preventatives. He is house, leash and crate trained. CHAPO would do best in an adult home only. He is fine with other non-Alpha dogs. He is a happy dog that just wants love and attention. CHAPO will howl with excitement when he hears you come thru the front door. He loves to play with balls that make noise and plush toys.

CHAPO enjoys attending Doggie Day Care twice a week with the resident dogs. He does great during that time. He rides in a car just fine as long as he has his seatbelt on. CHAPO had a dental and had several teeth removed. The rest are now pearly white. His favorite treats are celery, cheese and a few pieces of popcorn.

Chapo3CHAPO is diabetic. He is on a special Rx food. He is just fine when getting his insulin. The foster gives it to him while he is eating so he is distracted. CHAPO does have limited vision. Within a week, he knew his way around the foster’s home and the path thru the lanai to the backyard. He has never gotten near the pool.

Think you sing as great as Bruce Springsteen? CHAPO will  howl along with you. Foster still can’t decide if he just wants to howl along with you or wants to let you know that you are not such a great singer!
