Hi! My name is Gordita, and I am a 3-5 years old female mini schnauzer. I am salt and pepper and weigh about 16 pounds. I have fabulous natural ears and a beautiful tail. I am being fostered in north Alabama, but now I am ready for a new forever home. I am house trained, spayed and up to date on my shots. I am heart worm negative and on the preventatives.

I love to play with toys and explore the house and the fenced in yard. Giving snuggles and love are my favorite things next to getting them. I will become your little furry shadow. I do well with grooming and bath time even though they are not my favorites. I have a "glass is full" outlook on life and bring entertainment and laughter to the scene.

My dream home has a fur sibling to show me the ropes and to be a playmate, a fenced in yard because I can Houdini out of a harness if I get scared. I probably need a wood fence for more security and should not be left in the yard unsupervised especialy for awhile due to my background of not having been a treasured pet before. I will need patience and training with a leash and harness and my new family must be cautious to make sure I am secure and cannot escape. But first on my wish list is hoomans ready to give and receive lots of love. No small kids please - they make me nervous and I go and hide. My people will need to have some patience with me at the start as I learned to trust them. I was one of 30 Schnauzers rescued from a hoarding situation in Florida, and I had never known love or toys!
