Bubbly ‘Banana’ will celebrate her (6) month birthday mid-December. She is salt & pepper, has natural ears, a docked tail and currently weighs in at 8 lbs. She is up-to-date on all of her puppy shots. Banana was surrendered to an SLR Vet by her breeder when she was only 2 wks. old. She had pneumonia - our vet got this little girl healthy and turned her into SLR where they knew she would be taken care of and find a loving, forever family. 
Banana is partially blind. She was born with a neurological condition. She can see shadows and avoids objects that are in her way. She has typical Miniature Schnauzer hearing as she can hear a treat drop to the floor! Banana can be timid and shy - she needs another gentle dog who she can follow and hang with. She would be fine with older children as long as they respect her limitations. She loves to play with her toys by herself or with her human. 
Banana will be vocal to let you know she needs to go outside. She must have a fenced yard. She will also bark when going outside to let the neighbors know she has arrived and is protecting the immediate neighborhood. Of course she will also do a Schnauzer bark when she wants you to pay attention to her. This special little girl is so sweet and loves to cuddle. She can also be rough and tumble when playing with you. Banana sleeps thru the night - usually enjoys 8-9 hrs. of Schnauzer sleep time.
