Linda2
‘Lovely Linda’ was surrendered to SLR when her owner passed away. She is being fostered in Southeast, FL. Linda was thankful when she met her foster mom and dad. It only took her a few days to get acclimated to her foster home.

Linda4Linda is 6-7 years old. She is salt pepper, has natural ears that stand up and a natural tail. She weighs 18#. Of course she is spayed and up-to-date on all vaccines. She can be a little shy when meeting new people but warms up quickly. Linda loves to take walks, roll in the grass and to snuggle on the couch. She LOVES to play with her toys. One of her favorite games is to play hide & seek with her foster mom (she always finds her)!

Linda5Linda is house trained and leash trained (she is learning not to bite on her leash on her walks). She is not crated when left alone. She is a spunky, happy and mischievous young lady. Linda can be a detective - she feels it is her job to find where her food and treats are kept. When looking out the window, she will bark if anyone is walking too closely to her home. Linda is not an Alpha . She would be fine as an only dog or with another sweet dog.

Linda6Linda can be shy when meeting new people in her foster home or on walks. She has gotten better with time. One of her favorite things to do is to snuggle on the couch with her foster mom (and maybe a toy or two). No young children for this young lady!

If after reading her biography, you are interested in knowing additional details, please complete an adoption application on the SLR web site and enter ‘Linda’ as the playful Schnauzer you would like to provide a forever home to.

The name Linda originates from Spanish and Portuguese meaning pretty or beautiful!
