Pedro2 ‘

‘Pedro’ is being fostered in the Jacksonville area of FL. He enjoys playing in his foster’s fenced yard with the other two dogs in the home. He is estimated to be 1.5 to 2 years old. Pedro has natural ears and a natural tail. He weighs in at 15 lbs. Of course he is neutered and up-to-date on all of his vaccines. Pedro is a mix - he is white/tan/black and sheds a little. He is such a sweet, shy, young boy who is eager to please.

 

Pedro3In a short time, Pedro mastered, ‘sit, down and come.’ He responds beautifully to gentle guidance and positive reinforcement. He gets along with other dogs and cats and would do best in a home with a confident canine companion to show him the ropes and help him feel secure. Pedro can be timid and skittish around men. He may choose to keep his distance or retreat to a cozy corner if he feels unsure but his gentle nature always shines through. Pedro is especially comfortable around women and would flourish in a quiet home with a single woman.

Pedro4Pedro is in great health and has pearly white teeth. He is fine in his X-Pen when left alone. He adjusted so quickly to his schedule in his foster's home. The foster mom is impressed on how well Pedro behaves for such a young boy. A fenced yard would be preferable although he does love his regular walks throughout the day.  He LOVES playing and LOVES his chew toys. He is good with children and enjoys car rides.
