Hi, schnauzer lovers!  Meet Corky; his foster parents call him Pappy, since he has a sweet old man nature.  He is 12 and is a special little fella. He absolutely loves his humans; he is fine with other dogs, but not interested in playing.  He mainly cares about his humans, and he is happiest when curled up next to you, in your lap or at least at your feet. When you go from room to room, Corky will be your little shadow. He weighs in at 28 lbs., and is a beautiful salt and pepper color, with the sweetest face ever. 


He likes to wander around his fenced in backyard and take his time doing his thing. But a fenced yard is not mandatory; he does very well on a leash and enjoys walks.  He’s doesn’t bolt out the door and does not dig. But he will let you know if you go to bed and leave him to sleep in his own doggie bed.  He needs someone who can be home with him most of the time.  And when you leave him, he will bark loudly, so he is not suited for an apartment or townhouse. He rides well in the car, and is a great companion for outings.


Corky is in good health. He only needs eye drops morning and evening. His foster mom describes him as a dreamboat, and just the best little dog. Whoever adopts this baby will be getting a sweetheart.
