‘Good Grief!’ I was pulled from a shelter on the West Coast of FL. I am ready for my forever home. My name is ‘Charlie!’ Rumor has it, I was named after Charlie Brown. I am only (1) years old, have natural ears and a natural tail. The vet man feels I am a Schnauzer/Terrier Mix but I do not shed. I am black and tan and weigh in at 23#. I am a muscular, young boy. I am house, crate and leash trained. I am up-to-date on all of my vaccines. I have no health issues and have pearly white teeth! I LOVE playing with my hard latex toys or a Kong toy. I think that is why my teeth are so beautiful.
I am not an Alpha boy and love to play with other young dogs. Foster Mom says, ‘I am all puppy!’ A fenced yard would be great to run and exercise in but several walks a day would be fine for my exercise to keep my muscular body in shape. If other dogs bark at me on my walks, I will bark back at them. I am not a big barker at home but will definitely let you know if someone is at the door. An adult home with older children is fine but no felines, please! I can be nervous taking long car rides – short ones are fine, especially if we are going shopping to buy toys for me.
If after reading my autobiography, you are interested in knowing more details about me, please complete an adoption application on the SLR web site and enter ‘Charlie’ as the young, energetic boy you would like to provide a forever home to.
As ‘Charlie Brown’ would say – “there’s no sense in doing a lot of barking if you don’t really have anything to say!”
