Greetings from northeast FL! I am so thankful that I am a foster boy with SLR. My mom had to be admitted to Hospice and there was no immediate family to take me in. I love my foster mom and dad but I am ready for my forever home.
My name is ‘Mason.’ I am approximately a 10-11 years young Schnauzer. I have natural ears and a docked tail and weigh 15 lbs. I am salt & pepper. Foster mom says I am not an Alpha boy – I get along very well with both smaller and bigger dogs. I also would be fine as an only dog as that is what I was used to. I do love the attention and having my ears rubbed! No felines for me! I am up-to-date on all of my vaccines. I had to have some bladder stones removed and I am feeling great after that ordeal!
I am fine with any age – even young children. Foster Mom says I am very good with walking on a leash. I do enjoy the wonderful smells my neighborhood has to offer. I had a dental and had to have many teeth removed. I feel so much better. My gums have hardened up so I am now able to chew those delicious treats. As with age, comes some arthritis. It has not slowed me down. The vet man gives me a monthly shot and what a difference it has made. I’m remembering my younger days!
