Gino and I are very thankful that we are being fostered by SLR. We love our foster home but are in search of our Forever Family. We were originally found as strays. A lovely family found us and gave us shelter hoping to find our family. They were able to find out that we are a breeding pair so we must be adopted together. We are definitely a bonded pair.
My name is ‘Milli.’ Foster mom calls me ‘Milli (Vanilli).’ I am only 3 years old. I am salt & pepper, have natural ears and a natural tail. I weigh 18 lbs. Gino (Bambino) is also 3 years old. He is white & grey, has natural ears and a docked tail. He is 17 lbs. We are both house trained, crate trained (playpen together) and leash trained.
Gino and I share many of the same characteristics. We are both out going, very sweet, love being in your lap and just enjoy your attention. We both love toys and especially enjoy playing tug-of-war. We entertain ourselves. If we feel there are not enough toys out, we simply go to the toy box and take out what we want! Foster mom doesn’t even make us put them away when we are done playing! We are fine with the foster’s other dogs in the house. Sometimes they will join in the fun. We should be fine with older children.
Gino is a little bit shyer than I am. He loves to be close to me at all times. He will come looking for me if I am in another room. We are wonderful car riders. We either look out the window or just lay down to take a quick nap. We will do a cute ‘howl’ when we get excited. We are not big barkers. We know when it is bedtime so we go right into our playpen. Foster mom covers us up and we sleep right next to each other. Simply put, we are ‘great companions.’
We would love a fenced yard, a family that has someone home most of the time, lots of toys and a warm lap to curl up in. If you are interested in knowing additional details about us, please complete an adoption application on the SLR web site and enter ‘Milli & Gino’ as the young, playful, bonded pair you would like to provide a loving forever home to.
