Sunshine Greetings from FL! I am enjoying my time with my foster mom but I am ready to move on to my Forever Home. I know you are used to reading about Miniature Schnauzers on this page. I like to think of myself as the ‘next step up’ - I am Standard Schnauzer! I understand we can be in high demand!

My name is ‘Yoshi!’ I am 7 months old, have natural ears and a docked tail. My coloring is black & tan and I weigh in at 43 lbs. If you research a Standard Schnauzer, you will see various descriptions about my breed: intelligent, clever, alert, playful, devoted and affectionate to family members - just to name a few :)

Due to being high energy at my age, I most definitely need a fenced yard and another large dog to play with. No young kids for me.  I am not an Alpha Boy. Just like my Miniature cousins, I will bark when playing. I am house trained but still working on my leash training - I like to pull on my walks as there are so many great smells this time of year in FL. 

Foster mom says I am a happy, sweet boy who needs to be shown love and patience. I need a home that will provide structure and routine as I continue to work on my house manners! The vet man says I am a healthy, strong boy who would benefit from training classes and socialization. I am fine when riding in a car and I LOVE playing with hard toys!
