Hi, I am a petite little white mini schnauzer-Maltese mix, and my name – Princess, is perfect for me!    I am being fostered in Marietta, GA.  I’ve been told I’m about 12, but I feel and act much younger than that!

I am SUPER friendly and lovable, and have always approached everyone I meet very calmly, and I just can’t help it -  my full happy tail always starts wagging!  I just get so happy to greet people, kids, other dogs.   I love to walk, and sniff with my 2 sisters, so just call my name and I will come right up to you to get leashed up to go for a walk, or out in the yard.
 

I’m accustomed to the company of my siblings, so I sure hope that my new home already has a friend that I can bark with when I get excited.  There’s nothing more comfy than snuggling on my parents laps, or curling up next to them, getting rubbed.  Sometimes we play in the yard and I get to run.  Then I can play keep away with a tennis ball!

Before I came here, I had 2 huge bladder stones removed, and had a large incision that took some time to heal, but I have recovered from that all very well.  I’m on a special diet so they don’t develop again.

You should know that during the day, I will need to go outside every few hours or I may leave a little wet spot on the floor. But I usually tell you by coming up to you and whimpering a little bit.   I can make it through the night and stay dry, but during the day I am busy – I have to eat, play, walk, and bark, so I drink water and sometime need more frequent breaks.

I do not mind taking a bath but grooming was definitely NOT my favorite experience. I am trying to be less afraid of the comb as my mom and dad use it on me everyday.
