HARRY

Harry was fostered by Donna and Arlis and, being a special needs boy, he was in foster care for a longer period of time. Lucky for him his foster parents found that he could not be parted with and so he has become a permanent member of the family joining his two brothers, Zack and Isaac and his sister, Polly.  We hear he is doing great and gaining strength.  He especially likes his cookies. His family tells us they are thrilled to have him. Way to go, Harry~

TORRIE now GEORGE

George was fostered in Georgia and then adopted by Amy.  It appeared to be love at first sight between these two.  Now George will make his home in Alabama.  In an update from Amy, she told us that she is so attached to George, and they go everywhere together. Definitely a Happy Ever After!

SUZY now LUCY

Suzy, now named Lucy, was fostered by Matt Hallman and Daniel Bracken in Odenville, Alabama.  Lucy came into SLR as a stray and was matted and timid at first.  She was groomed two days later and became a totally different girl.   She just needed Love and Care for her to come out of her shell.

Kathy was matched with little Ms. Lucy a few days later and it was meant to be.  Kathy fell in Love with Lucy and now Lucy lives in Georgia where she enjoys daily walks, cuddle time, and car rides. She is a great addition to her new family.  In this picture Lucy is being held by her new mother, Kathy, and her two Godparents.  Happy Tails truly happen.
