Say hello to Lucy Lu and Pepper Do, an adorable mother and son bonded pair. Lucy Lu is 5 and Pepper Do is 2, and they came from a high-kill shelter where they faced certain death until SLR stepped in to rescue them. They are neutered/spayed and up-to-date on all vaccinations, house trained, and good on a leash. Pepper Do gets motion sick, so although he has mediation for that, riding around town in a car is not his favorite thing. He’s fine on trips when he can take his medicine.
As you can see, they’re tiny – each about 7 lbs. and are super sweet and lovable schnorkies. They’re good with children (probably at least school age since they are so tiny). Lucy Lu is a cuddler; her favorite thing is to snuggle with her human wherever that might be. Pepper Do is energetic and busy; he loves to run around the house and explore. He’s just a happy little clown! The both love human and animal visitors and have never met a stranger. They are well-behaved at the groomer and at the vet office. They’re so cute and sweet, they get lots of attention wherever they go, which they love.
They need a calm household since their beginnings were so chaotic. They are great for an apartment or condo or house. They are accustomed to walking, but would enjoy a fenced yard, although that isn’t a must. Children are fine as long as they are gentle and respectful to these tiny pups.
